Speaker:

Michele Weisblatt, Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Partnerships, WITI:
Prior to joining WITI Michele served as IT Practice Director for Spherion, Inc. (now Technisource), one of the nations leading technology staffing providers, responsible for driving Spherion's sales and business development for the Southern California region. In this role she served as the senior leader for the overall technology consulting and recruiting services. Before moving over to the management side of her career, Michele worked as a Consulting Engineer and Designer/Programmer for one of the worlds leading computer companies, Apple Computer where she worked with Fortune 500 companies and startups developing custom applications that leveraged Apples WebObjects technology. Michele has also worked as a Programmer at Image Info, Inc. to develop systems for this software company that had thousands of licensed users from small and mid-sized designers and manufacturers to industry giants like Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, Hugo Boss, Zegna, and Diesel. Having worked in IT for a number years and having been one or two women on large teams dominated by men she decided to join WITI to assist women as herself in growing the female market within IT. Michele holds a BFA in Photography with top honors from Parsons The New School for Design in New York City.

Jennifer Beckey, Regional Vice President, WITI:
Jennifer Beckey is an entrepreneurially-minded executive whose professional background encompasses companies in both the high technology and professional services sectors. Jennifer is currently the Office Administrator for the San Francisco office of Littler Mendelson, a national law firm specializing in law and employment law. She is on the Board of Directors for Herophilos, Inc., whose product, HERO, is a web-enabled cloud-computing platform for scientific collaboration. Formerly, she was CEO of Maptrace, a wireless telecommunications company.

Jennifer serves in several capacities for WITI, Women in Technology International. She functions both as Regional Vice President, as well as Network Director for the WITI Silicon Valley Network. She founded the San Diego chapter of FWE, which became the WITI San Diego regional network in January 2005 [she built the original San Diego chapter from its inception to a membership base of over 200 members] and remains active in its leadership to the present date].

Patricia Wilson, President, Zonta Club of Greater Sacramento.
Patti is an Air Traffic Controller working in the Northern California area. When Patti decided that she wanted to expand her personal network to include people who work outside of her profession, she joined Zonta (zonta.org) and organization committed to advancing the status of women worldwide. She is now the President of the Zonta Club of Greater Sacramento, which gives her an opportunity to give back to the community and to women around the world, while developing a large personal network.
